"Great location - close to the beach and the port. The view of the castle was fantastic from the high bar (you can see the hotel from the top of the castle). Staff were fantastic and approachable. Not far from multiple restaurants and cafes. Nearby art gallery was nice to look around and free entry. Clean hotel and water available on every floor was a good touch. Would stay again. "

"We arrived early, but had a very friendly greeting and were allowed to check in early as our room was ready. The hostal is set in a very convenient spot in the city, very close to the beach, castle and museums, and with plenty of dining options. The room was bright, clean and well equipped. Check in instructions could be more clear, but would definitely recommend. Tip: a door code is emailed ahead of arrival, but you need to remember the # key after the number. The code will not work until 3pm...

"Vi köpte en billig hotell natt i Alicante för att utforska stan lite närmare. Vil5 har ett utmärkt läge i gamla stan nära till restauranger, barer, museum och hissen som tar dig upp till borgen på berget. VIL5 är obemannat men all service finns i hotellet tvärs över gatan, där sker även incheckning och frukost. Frukost kostade 10.50 euro, den var rätt så standard men helt ok. Frukosten serverades på takvåningen med en fin utsikt över borgen och stan. Ute terrassen var inte öppen under frukosten...

"L'hotel ha una posizione fantastica, a pochi passi dalla fermata del bus per l'aereoporto, dal centro e dal mare. Esternamente e' una costruzione vecchiotta ma le camere (fino al quinto piano) sono state appena ristrutturate, sono pulite e spaziose. La colazione e' abbastanza varia con affettati, formaggi, uova sode, yogurt, 4 tipi di brioches frutta, cereali e bevande varie. Lo consiglierei senza dubbio. "
