"We loved the relaxed beautiful interior of the Inn. The staff were so kind, friendly polite. I would like to thank a Caroline who asked the kitchen to put 2 Sunday rost aside for us and as she left at the end of her shift on reception came into the sitting to tell us she had made sure we would have a rosy dinner that evening "

"This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place."

"Conveniently positioned opposite the Cathedral. Limited parking behind the pub. But on-road parking outside the pub itself. Nicely decorated rooms. Extremely helpful, and friendly staff. Only a short walk to facilities shops/resaurants etc (albeit uphill on the return). Good food at the pub itself. Excellent continental breakfast selection"
