"Couldn't be a better location with a short five minute walk to the train station on one side and direct access to the old town in the other direction. The staff was very helpful and the included breakfast was exceptional."

"The buffet breakfast is excellent! And it’s close to the train station and the old city which is very convenient. Unfortunately, the first room they gave us, the AC was not working. They moved us to another room, where the AC was working but the minibar fridge was off and the room safe was locked. All fixed very quickly (service and staff get five stars). Then we discovered there is no hot water (too late to change rooms and we didn’t complain as it was already late). Next morning, no hot water still, but by the afternoon the hot water was back. Overall, the furnishings, bed, pillows, curtains, lobby etc clearly make this a 3 star hotel, with a breakfast and service level that belongs to a 4 or 5 star property."

"Check-in: I had to help at 4 other travellers check-in as I was coming and going during my stay. Not their fault because the check-in process is atrocious – it's completely unintuitive, no instructions on the wall which is an obvious thing to do. Other guest were very confused and because I had figured it out luckily I was able to help them, otherwise they would have been stuck. The contact number was never answered. Room: Dirty plates were left in the kitchen cupboard. Disgusting. Everything just felt dirty. Piles of dust behind and under the bed. Clearly the rooms are just superficially cleaned with no care for hygiene and guest comfort. I was actually sick for a week after staying there. There was a consistent smell in the room (a mix of stale smoke and cooking fumes). Bathroom: The shower enclosure was broken and the cheap MDF board that is supposed to look like a premium shower floor was broken and clearly will become rotten with continued exposure to water ingress. Gym: They don't tell you this when you book but the Gym is an extra 5 Euros...per day! I'm pretty sure it would be as dirty as the rooms so I didn't bother. There are actually proper gyms nearby that are 9 Euros for 24hrs so you do the math. Washing Machine: Don't even get me started... you cannot even buy washing tablets and softener there. You have to setup an app to select the washing machine which again is just not a great experience honestly. Do better."
