Not what was advertised

The resort was not the resort showed in the pictures on Hotel.Com. The pictures of the pool and the seaside beach were from the Golf Portos sister casino which is not adjacent or anywhere near the Golf Porto Resort. The amenities described are also from the sister resort. The room pictures are accurate. This is an apartment rental and has a golf course behind it. They had a pool, but a much smaller one then showed in the pictures on the Hotel.com website. The fridge was not working and we had to call in maintenance who got it working properly. The resort is not seaside. It actually sits on the otherside of the main highway. The rooms were clean and adequate for the price. Nothing fancy, but lots of room. The restaurants advertised on the website were also part of the other resort. They did have a Chilis, but it wasn't open yet when I stayed there.

This is no where close to the location it says on the map or to the activities it says are within 3 miles... instead, this is a resort a loooooong way out of town and not at all close to anything in Alexandria.

Zimmer OK. Anlage hat keinen Zugang zum Meer! Bademöglichkeit zu weit vom Zimmer entfernt. Pool mit zu geringer Wassertiefe für Erwachsene, so dass kein Schwimmen möglich. Lagebeschreibung ungenügend und falsch!
