Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Hotel was convenient to boat tour docks. However, Place was outdated and difficult to get luggage up to room without an elevator. Thought the stay was a bit pricey especially since breakfast was not included.

It was a nice and short stay. I read a lot of reviews before deciding to stay at Bonnie Castle. The reviews were accurate. The staff is friendly. The place is very outdated. My room was very clean but the balcony was small and uncomfortable. I went down to the pool. The smell of "chloramine" (chlorine mixed with urine and sweat) was astounding. The smell burned my eyes. We did not use the pool while we were there but it clearly needed to be fully cleaned.

Facility is adequate but is an older dated facility in need of significant renovations and upgrades. Room was clean. Bedding was adequate, nothing special from a comfort perspective. TV was adequate but very base level tech. Room security included only the doorknob lock. No secondary latch or chain. AC control again old with some button lights not working. Was able to achieve a desired setting after some trial and error

The staff were excellent at The Inn. The property itself if very outdated and is in need of updating. I do know they want to keep the history at this hotel but there are updates they should make. We paid extra money for a room with a balcony. The balcony is extremely narrow and the outside lights do not turn off so the bugs are bad. Overall, I would not stay here again.

This place is in dire need of a remodel if not a gut. It would be ok if it was a little out dated, but our 1st room was absolutely awful. I really should have taken photos to post here, but I just wanted to get out of the room. It had an awful smell of mold & dirty cat litter. The room was full of spider webs. The furniture was dirty to the point that my husband had to wipe the desk chair down with soap & face cloth. The bathroom was awful... the sink was separating from the counter top, the ceiling tiles were dirty and frame that held the tiles in were rusted. I've never given a bad review, but this was just gross & upsetting! I will say that the staff was very accommodating and immediately changed our room to another building, but the new room was still outdated. We walked the property outside the following morning and the exterior is also in serious need of updating. It wasn't worth the $$ for the location. I would consider somewhere else without hesitation. It's a real shame because it's a beautiful location and the staff was kind & helpful.
