"Needed to be close to the airport for an early flight after a week of sightseeing and lots of outdoor activities.
Was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were as well as the amenities offered.
Walking distance to several fast food options and the Walmart as well as some shopping. Front desk was welcoming and the grounds were clean and inviting "
"Very clean, room smelled so nice and clean. Check in was easy. Room was big. Pool was fine, nothing fancy but clean, water was warm and my kids loved it. It’s certainly not the most scenic location, it’s in a parking lot next to OfficeMax, but the hotel was nice and we’d stay again if traveling through Anchorage."
"The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that one might expect in a suite. The staff was wonderful & helpful - going out of their way both at checkin as well as during the stay. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to major roads and attractions. I would strongly recommend. And will stay again when next in Anchorage."

"I appreciated having laundry facilitates on site. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. We were concerned about the number of homeless people in the area, but i don't think there's a place in Anchorage you can get away from that. Staff is very friendly and welcoming."
"The day we checked in and as we almost made it to our room, the fire alarm went off. With luggage in hand we ran down the stairs and found the outdoor exit with another guest. We made our way to the front of the building and learned it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Anyway, fun times :-)
The staff is wonderful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful with optoons to have omelets made the way you want, and pancakes too. Our room was clean and quite. Overall, great stay."
"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only troublesome thing that my wife and I had during our entire stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage Downtown/Ship Creek, almost every day, we had to have our room key rebooted."
