"This is a fantastic homestay location, and called "resort hotel in Thumboly" by some of the local auto drivers. I booked this on an impulse travel through hotels dot com website and fully enjoyed my stay. The owner (Mr. George) and the manager Mr. Shibu were prompt with communication and helpful. "The room had two big windows and a cute butterfly shaped bed. Big bathroom. Welcomed a board with a drink and friendly staff. The lounge and dining room was spacious and well decorated with comfortable furniture. Outside deck with comfy seating. The food was good and tea was served. The staff were very accommodating and friendly."

While we didn’t get to try all the amenities due to the NY eve rush, the complimentary boat ride on the lake Vemnad was amazing (I would highly recommend to book in advance as it fills our fast). "The boat was nowhere close to what was advertised and what we paid for. Room was advertised as premium but actual was far from it. Very poor room and supporting amenities. Linen, bathroom etc very very poor and not reflecting premium room. Poor linen - holes in linen and towels brown and very worn. No wifi on board even though advertised as with WIFI. No tissues or toilet paper as well as no bath mats. Very unhygienic facility but were asked to walk without shoes onboard."
