Top Alabaster Hotel Reviews

Red Roof Inn Birmingham South
6/10 Okay
"Would not recommend for more than a night or two. The toilet seat was not clean, and after I showered the room felt humid and damp. Staff was very nice though!"

Homewood Suites by Hilton Birmingham Downtown Near UAB
6/10 Okay
"The room was clean, but the pillows were few and lumpy. The parking is $25 per car, and the place is a bit run down. Lots of small fixes here and there within our room. The staff were very nice. The “two buck Chuck” being sold for $25 in the lobby was hilarious. Lots of people seemed to smoke right outside the doors and in the corridor to the parking area."

Comfort Inn Birmingham Homewood
6/10 Okay
"I spent a lot of time outside of the room on my visit. The hotel halls and lobby smelled great, however my room had an initial urine smell upon entering. The bathroom was right at the door. The toilet was dirty when I wiped it like it had nvr been cleaned. While it was for just a few a days... i would not stay in this hotel again."

Days Inn by Wyndham Hoover Birmingham
2/10 Terrible
"The room was smelly I couldn’t sleep the pillows were uncomfortable too and old , if the ratings were accurate I wouldn’t choose this place."

Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Downtown-Tutwiler
2/10 Terrible
"There is nothing charming about this overpriced cheap hotel. The rooms are very dated. The pillows were flat and when I asked for more pillows the night clerk told me they did not have any but that I could use some towels and a blanket instead (that I would have to come down and get). This was after I'd already gotten in bed so even if they had pillows, you'd think they'd offer to bring them up. The mattress was hard. I had the balcony suite. There is no door between the living area and the bedroom so there's no privacy if you intend to share the space. The balcony is not worth it unless you want to stand there for a photo op. There are no chairs on the balcony. There one chair in the room that you can move out there. There's also no scenic view from the balcony (only a tall building across the street). It's certainly not worth an upgrade. The breakfast was horrible. The scrambled eggs were wet. They were literally sitting in water. The microwave turkey sausage links were overcooked and wrinkled from sitting up too long. The grits were lumpy and dirty. And the seating area look like one too many dogs have been allowed to sit on the comfy couches. They were stained and hairy. We paid $35 a day for valet and there was actually free parking on the street. The valet was not worth it. We had half roll of toilet tissue when we checked in and we had to call three times for tissue. Overall this hotel is not a very good representation of the Hilton brand. I wouldn't stay here again."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Birmingham Homewood
4/10 Poor
"Parking and location was great. Breakfast okay, however the room floor needed to be moped, hall carpet was stained, and Marijuana smell was overwhelming."

Hyatt Place Birmingham/Hoover
10/10 Excellent
"We love staying at Hyatt Place when we are in Hoover. We made reservations late and was happy rooms were available due to the SEC baseball tournament. They have the comfiest beds!"

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Birmingham Hoover
10/10 Excellent
"People who bring their dogs with them need to clean up after them when they take them out on the property to relieve themselves."
