"We arrived late (maybe around 11pm) and you check in at the restaurant downstairs on the first floor. We were told we were the last guests to arrive, but the hostess was very kind and luckily they had an elevator to our 4th floor room. The room was nice, modern, and the kitchenette even had an oven. After staying our previous 4 nights in small towns or remote rooms, it was fun to see a nightlife on a Saturday night in Akureyri, with lots of people still on the streets as we were checking in. ...

"Apartment was perfectly situated in the cute seaside town. Very walkable to delicious cafés and restaurants. Very spacious one bedroom unit. Laundry in unit was really convenient. Little balcony gave some far off view of the water. Highly recommend."

"Very unique and convenient being above a restaurant! Bathrooms were clean. Bedroom was minimal and quiet! All check-in and check-out is online. Note: dinner stops at 8pm, but the bar stays open until 10pm. The staff was VERY friendly, which was so nice to talk to fellow travelers who happen to live and work in Iceland. HIGHLY recommend staying here for a night or two!"

"It is a family run Hostel, with a great location in Akureyri. Very good service and friendly staff. I had a pleasant stay."

"We arrived at the apartment with no check-in information. Nothing by e-mail,so we called the office to get the room number and door code. Unfortunately the room was occupied by other two guests, they were shocked. That was the wrong number we got. I tried to call the office again and again and gain the line was so busy and coursed more expenses for telephone bill roaming charge. "Great apartment! Centrally located on the main drag in Akuryeri and right next to this fabulous cafe called Berlin! The flat itself was spacious yet cozy, and after traveling for a few days it was a nice place to relax and watch movies while it snowed outside. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and there was off-street parking in a private lot. Would definitely book again! Wish we stayed longer than 1 night!"

"We were disappointed, arrived in late evening and were supposed to stay 2 days but we immediately booked another hotel (K16 apartments) for the following night, which for a little more money gave us a much better experience. The issues we encountered: no free parking close by, 2 flights of stairs to carry our suitcases up to the apt, very small studio with sofa bed which occupies a lot of space when opened, plus an heavy glass and metal coffee table which further reduces space, no bath towels...

"Very nice and clean modern rooms. There is self check in and you don’t interact with any staff, which was fine. The bathroom was very clean, the shower was great with variable pressure and very warm. I appreciated they had a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and there was a smart TV which was nice at the end of the day! There is a small fridge in the room but in the dining area, there is a large fridge and microwave for you to use. There’s even a hot tub. It was the best hotel we’ve stayed at...
