"This is a hidden gem. Yes, it was outdated BUT given that I started coming to Tahoe in the early 80s, I actually really appreciated the older vibe. When I arrived the keys (actual keys) were waiting for me on the office and I was able to let myself in. I loved that. The room was tidy and clean. Just make sure to read your emails about the sign in process as the front desk is unmanned… there is a registration form abs a security deposit form that you need to fill out digitally beforehand in order to get your room access code. "Our very quaint little one bedroom cabin that sleeps 4 was fully equipped with linens, towels, and basic toiletries. The kitchenette was well equipped with coffee pot and supplies, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and stove. Dining table for 4. Beach towels were available too. Our cabin was among the big trees and across the street from their private beach with lounge chairs and dock. Heated pool was a "refreshing" temperature and needed some skimming. "Enjoyed my weekend trip to Tahoe City. The location was great, after a full day out at the lake. Check in was quick, friendly. Once settled in my room walked the strip that has many options for dinner an shopping. Room was comfortable an at night it was very quiet. Check out was very simple with phenomenal service. I will definitely be coming back."
