Great location, quiet, beautiful pool and nice hot tub. Ricardo and his family (owners) went out of there way to ensure that our stay was perfect. Breakfast every morning outside by the pool was amazing.

My two friends and I had an amazing stay! We spent the final night of my bachelorette holiday at the hotel, and it was exactly what we needed — relaxing, beautiful views, and great hospitality. We had a great stay with beautiful views! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The place has a rustic charm. If you plan to drive, be aware of the tight mountain roads and steep driveway to the hotel.

The owners are fantastic and so accommodating and friendly. The place is beautiful. Room was great. I advise getting a car if you want to sightsee although they will take you. Also advise getting food and drinks for the room. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely go there again.

If you're looking for an escape into the forest with plenty of lively animal sounds in the night, this is the place for you. The hosts were really nice. My only complaint was the hot water issue other than that it's a 10/10 for me.

Beyond beautiful room and the Continental breakfast included like many hotels offers... Scramble eggs, bacon/pankakes, and yogurt that we all gets that is a unfrozen breakfast... at SERENA they make it fresh at the moment and a magical, delicious experience... This place was perfect for our needs as we have been to Puerto Rico several times. The food, especially breakfast and the hosts’ hospitality was excellent! Highly recommend a vehicle for exploring outside the immediate area. Beautiful views and setting. The property is still a work in progress and imagine it will be really amazing once completed.

The family that owns this beautiful place were the sweetest most accommodating, helpful people ever! We didn’t rent a car so they ran to the store and bought us whatever we needed, took us on a 4 hour tour, cooked amazing breakfast’s each morning. I could not have picked a better place to stay on our honeymoon! And I will be coming back every year!

If you are looking for an authentic Puerto Rican experience then this is the place for you. The caregivers of this place go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. It is up in the mountains so I recommend a 4WD vehicle. Beautiful surroundings, great breakfast and wonderful people!
