"Very nice hotel just a 15 minute walk into Fira town. From there, it's easy to take the bus (2-3€) to Oia or down to Akrotiri or Red Beach--all worth visiting. Note that the walk to hotel is slightly up/down hill, but not bad. We stayed in the junior suite, which was spacious and had a nice balcony view. Good breakfasts with different variety of items each morning. They arranged taxi transport from the airport for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Room and bathroom was nice, updated and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was nice as well. Two things that bothered me was the AC was bit noisy, maybe they need servicing or replaced but the inconsistant vibrating noise was disturbing at night. Another thing to consider replacing is the single sofa/bed. Since it also works as sofa for watching tv, the edge side where people mostly sit has sunken in. So when you sleep on it, it slopes slightly and feels bit uncomfortable. However, the thickness of mattress is great. We had a good time in the hotel overall."

"Overall this is an excellent hotel. Some might find the location lacking, as it is ten minutes walk down a hill on the opposite side of the caldera. We found this location to be ideal, however, as it was away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of restaurants overlooking the sought-after sunsets. We had the added bonus of waking to fabulous sunrises too, which we watched from our lagoon suite, with a private terrace and swim up pool; what's not to like. The location also offered a bus stop to Oia, within five minutes walk, and a twenty-five minute walk into Fira via the caldera cliff-side path. We did both. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We did not use the gym or spa, but they did look to be good clean facilities. Two negatives, but only minor: It would have been nice if the pool was slightly heated. The cooked portion of the breakfast could have been a lot better, but there were many other options which we preferred, such as extremely fresh fruit and really good Greek yoghurt."

"My husband and I stayed here for three nights and found a location to be perfect. They had everything we needed and it was very beautifully appointed. The staff were amazing and so helpful in arranging for dinners and doctors! Constantina couldn’t have been more wonderful if she tried! She was very patient with us as we dealt with a health issue that suddenly arose. We felt so cared for by her and the rest of the staff also. The breakfast was incredible every morning and set in a beautiful and very peaceful garden. We would absolutely recommend anybody to stay here."

"So glad we went to Astro, just a short 5 min walk from the centre, close to airport and even closer to bus station. We had a honeymoon suite despite booking just a superior room. Four poster bed, double walk in shower, separate wash room with toilet. Breakfast was fantastic and Ahmed gave nothing but 5* service. The moment he saw us we went off and come back with our coffees as he remembered what we liked and they kept coming! The pool area was so relaxed and beautiful. So nice to go on a holiday and not have to fight for a bed! The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. Everyone always has a smile on their face! I really couldn’t fault it and I would 100% return. What a wonderful place 💕"
