"Overpriced for what it offers. The staff and food were great, but you can get a very similar experience at neighboring hotels for half the price. Surprisingly, complimentary bottled water is not included even though Santorini tap water is not drinkable and water costs €7 per bottle plus tax. Coffee pods are included, but having to purchase basic drinking water at this price point felt unreasonable. The main pool, advertised as heated, was never heated during our stay, which was disappointing since it was cold in April and the pool is one of the property’s main amenities."

"If I could give this place more than 10/10, I absolutely would. Stella Rocca A Mare was, without question, the best accommodation my wife and I have experienced in all of our travels. We stayed in one of the cave-style rooms, and it was truly something special—beautifully designed, incredibly unique, and perfectly in harmony with the Santorini landscape. Our private balcony with a heated plunge pool was unforgettable. Sitting there overlooking the caldera, especially in the early morning and at sunset, was one of those “wow” moments you don’t forget. The views are breathtaking. What really set this place apart, though, was the people. Aris, the manager, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was perfect. The entire staff was outstanding. Housekeeping went above and beyond every day. The restaurant team was an absolute joy—warm, welcoming, and full of personality. A special thank you to Arthur and CJ, and to the wonderful team member whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch—you were all amazing. You made us feel like family with smiles, laughter, and even hugs. Everything about this property—from the rooms, to the views, to the service—was top-tier. We will absolutely be back."

"View from.the room is stunning, but glass panes/windows were not cleaned so it was a bit frustrating. But a lot of repairs are overdue for the amenities. Staff is helpful and polite, reception /check-in was amicable and helpful."

"The view from this property is absolutely breathtaking, with an incredible caldera view that truly stands out and makes the entire stay memorable. The place was clean and everything matched what was described on the property page, which made the stay very reliable and comfortable. Since we did not have a rental car, the property was helpful in arranging taxis for us whenever needed. The property also had two bathrooms, one of which had an open concept design. This was not an issue for us. There are quite a few stairs to climb, but that is expected for the location and part of the overall experience. Overall, it was a beautiful stay. We didn’t get the Expedia perk of 1 beverage per 2 people per stay. "

"Everything was fantastic!!! Angel (the manager) very helpful in all aspects and also was the nicest person I have ever met. The room was as I expected and the breakfast was incredible, loved the variety! Anyone who wants to come to Santorini should stayed here. Great experience!"
