"Everything was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. Kitchenette was fully stocked with real dishes/glassware and cutlery. Breakfast buffet was standard but certainly lots of choices. The lid of the steamer for the hash brown patties was left open (as per the sign) but that meant they were cold when I ate them. Also on our floor you could get snacks from a vending machine but had to go to a different floor for a drink vending machine. I never saw ice. "

"We were unable to check-in right away when we arrived. We were early by 25 minutes, but had to wait 45 to get a room. They did upgrade us at that time. The room was good, but had a very strong chlorine smell that never dissipated. The room was quiet. A good breakfast was included. The area did have a few sketchy characters, but was convenient to shopping, the movie theatre, and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were friendly."

"Great room and clean. Certain rooms are pet friendly and that was helpful for us since we brought our dog. They charged $50+ tax as a fee to bring the dog with us which is a bit on the higher side. They have a bit of a walking area to walk your dog around the building but their park is under repair due to safety concerns. "Honestly a perfect spot for the night and in the middle of our travels. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was actually good with many options. Shout out to Summer who greeted us. She was very kind and insightful on where to go in Barrie in terms of shopping. Only note (which wasn’t a problem for us, I just forgot to mention it as we were leaving) was our bathroom at times smelled like cigarettes.
