"A one night stay plus breakfast. Good. No issues. Not that it was an issue for my stay but for future reference to consider permitting dogs. Maybe allocate some rooms for o/night stay with dogs. Wonderful countryside location. You advertise walks. Missing out on a key £ market!"

"What a beautiful room with incredible views. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for a night away. All rooms are adjacent to the pub in a separate building. However the Expedia booking did not state that ,nor did the information sent to the Porters Lodge. The charge was though only £5 pp."

"The receptionist was kind enough to let us park our car while we went up to Sugarloaf early in the morning. All the staff are very friendly. We had our dinner at their restaurant. Fish and chips lovely and cooked breakfast was very nice. Lovely view of the mountain from our bedroom. Room is very spacious,nice and clean. Bathroom is lovely and clean. Looking forward staying here again."

"Firstly, it was lovely to stay in an independently owned hotel where the staff clearly have great pride in their hotel and ensuring that guests are happy with their stay. Everyone was charming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal, although not an extensive menu, was freshly prepared and nicely presented. In the evenings this is an extremely popular pub with locals and visitors. The bars were absolutely packed and in the Corn Exchange next door was an AC/DC tribute band. We...
