"We hadden de familiekamer. Fijne ruime kamer, alleen de slaapbank is niet geschikt voor 2 kinderen van 11 en 14 jaar. De bank is eigenlijk versleten en te smal. De dames waren enorm vriendelijk en we hebben goed gegeten. Prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Oxford"

"The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook. She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. The breakfast is cooked to order...

"Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed."

"👌"

"Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...

"Super location . Good value or money"

"Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. "

"Had a lovely stay."

"พนักงานมีความเป็นกันเอง และบรรยากาศในที่พักสวยงาม สะอาด แต่เสียดายอย่างเดียวคือไม่มีลิฟท์ ทำให้ต้องขนกระเป๋าเดินทางขึ้นบรรไดหลายชั้น แต่โดยรวมนอกนั้นดีมาก"

"We had a fantastic stay at the Plough Inn. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the pub and restaurant were really great to relax in and feel like relaxing at home. The food was excellent as well. Would definitely return!"

"The hotels.com site states there is a reataurant at the location, there is but only open until 1500hrs, so that was a big issue as delivery was the next choice, pizza, indian etc not a great option and a minimium of £30 to get a delivery, a pain on your own. I then had an issue closing the room window as that neess maintenance, the tv controls were next, there were none and the great staff had to find a spare set. The staff were great and the pub nice, accomodation was tired and not in walking...

"Super team made me feel very welcome and were always available. Clean, comfortable room. Nice breakfast and plenty of parking"

"Lovely area , lovely property, lovely people just a shame the place wasn’t clean ,"

"We were looking for an overnight stop travelling back North from Southampton and came across here. There was a big extension being built to the front of the pub so parking was difficult but otherwise caused no inconvenience. We had 3 rooms and all were very comfortable and well equipped . What stood out about this place was the staff, all were genuinely lovely and friendly. Checked in and personally shown to our rooms. We ate at the pub and the food was quickly served and was simply delicious...
