"The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?"

"Great location. 20 minutes drive into Oxford city centre, or 5 minutes to Park & Ride. Lovely modern upgraded room with upgraded mattress and duvet. Modern and clean bathroom. Ample free parking. Tasty free breakfast. Lovely staff. "

"Nice hotel lovely setting. Room was nice. Breakfast was ample and good choice. Pool facilities were nice but shower out of use. No bathrobes in bedroom or slippers had to get reception to deliver them they were not held at dos pool either other than that a very pleasant stay "

"Parking is quite small - you might need to find an alternative if there are more than 10 guests."

"The gentleman on reception who checked us in, David, was stellar. Friendly, polite, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The room (4th floor) was relatively quiet and clean tho some of the furnishing had seen better days. Minimal noise from outside, which is impressive given it’s on a busy interchange and close to the railway but some noisy other guests disturbed us a bit"

"Excellent location for easy access to Abingdon and Oxford park and ride. We were attending a graduation and needed an early start - breakfast is normally served at 8, but the proprietor was gracious enough to serve ours at 7:30 so that we could get into Oxford on time."
