"First off, we weren’t in the main hotel building, so I can’t comment on that other than it looked ok from reception. We were in the row of rooms to the right of of the main entrance, along the main road. A surprisingly noisy main road. The room was spacious, but stank of wet dog. Huge need for a bit of TLC to be spent improving the rooms, beds, bedding, towels, carpet etc. Definitely not worth the money spent on one night unfortunately, but this seems to be a trend with small hotels and i do...

"A very pleasant and convenient place to stay for train travellers. There is no elevator for the upper floor, but that didn’t affect me. The weather in April isn’t quite nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the patio and view, but it would be excellent in the warmer months."

"In room 26, spacious family room. comfortable , clean and with 3 chairs. A huge bonus when so many rooms only have one or two. Food excellent and plentiful, both for breakfast and also a fabulous Nepalese dinner that was very reasonably priced. Staff very attentive. I will stay again."

"From booking on line to checking out at the end of our stay, everything was excellent, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food was more than adequate, minor observation, the options on the set menus were a little limited, very tasty and fresh but a few more options wouldn’t go amiss. The room was comfortable and spacious, just what you need after a long drive. The street signage could be a bit more obvious, but I’m sure the local council could give the trees a haircut and expose these...

"Very friendly and acommadating"

"If you have mobility issues, this may not be the hotel for you. Our room 214 was up 3 flights of narrow stairs. Housekeeping needs to do a Thorough cleaning more often. I'm not a fan of seeing cobwebs in the corners of the floors. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is not walkable into town. Everyone we talked to said it was one of the best hotels in town."

"The room was tiny. The bathroom was so tiny the door closed on the toilet as well as the shower room door. The beds were like water beds no support at all. I asked for a fan for the room and was no we don’t have any. When i asked for extra pillows i met with a sigh and told if i can find some i will get you some. The breakfast was all overcooked. I did ask if they had a room with different beds and was told all the beds are the same. On day 3 we had had no sleep and made the decision to go...
