"The property was very pretty. The atmosphere very relaxing. The staff didn’t speak any English and some didn’t speak Thai. This hotel is geared toward Chinese tourists. All the signs were in Chinese and the staff many only spoke Chinese. The breakfast was horrible and again was geared toward a Chinese tourist. "

"Hotel was spacious. General cleanliness was ok ; typical of a Thai hotel. Everything seemed to go well until the night when we found out air conditioner in one of the rooms was not working well. This is a thing not expected of the Thai service. "

"Outside not look fancy but when you come to the room very large room nice and pretty private, staffs very nice and welcoming, room very nice and clean , large room can fit 4 people in the room , the price very cheap for nice hotel. I am very recommend people to try this hotel normally I don’t like to write the reviews but this one are good for $50 per night and I will come back for more"

"Beautiful and comfortable stay in the Rice Barn Villas. Note that it is somewhat of a hassle to get to and from downtown Chiang Mai but the hotel can arrange a car for an additional charge. "
