"Friars Wynd hotel was an incredibly unique boutique hotel on my 3 week UK road trip. Within this area parking is very limited, but there was a car park within 100 feet of my door. There is free parking after 5 PM I think? Until about 8am? Which was completely acceptable. "Meadowpark was superior to comparable properties. Staff were friendly, bar and restaurant were excellent, free breakfast provided to our room was superb and even the TV had a wide range of channels. I would rate MP the best hotel we stayed at during our three week holiday."

"Lovely old building in centre of Callander. Easy check in at bar. Spotlessly clean bedroom with comfy bed and nice touch is complimentary bottled water and toiletries. Self serve continental breakfast was excellent with a great choice of cereals, yogurts, muffins, flapjacks and toast. Staff were all lovely and welcoming. There is a Car park less than 5 mins walk away and costs £4.50 per day from 8.45 -17.30 so 'free' after that and we walked round at 8.40 the next morning to pay for another...
