The kettle in the guest room needs to be throughly inspected. I made 3 changed; and all seem to leak after boiled water is left in the kettle. Overall am pleased with Toyoko Inn Ulaanbaatar.

Apartment needs a microwave. Also quality of housekeeping is very inconsistent - sometimes no soap replenished, sometimes bin not cleared, sometimes dishes not washed. Also need to stock up utensils - more spoons/forks, no tea spoons, no butter knife, no steak/fish knives.

In winter it can be smoky and you may need a mask. My wife is Mongolian so I knew it was going to be cold but to experience-38 was unreal.
