"The hotel is ok if you have to catch a flight early in the morning. The onsite restaurant only serves breakfast (which was decent) and for any other meals you have to go to another location. At check in we were given a room with three beds at the ground floor and were told by the lady at the reception that they only exist on the ground floor! "The exterior of the building gave us pause upon driving up, but the hotel room was very nice and spacious for our quick overnight before an early am flight. The hotel offered us a free pickup & dropoff to the airport a quick 6 min drive away. We also grabbed a late night dinner at the on-site restaurant and the food was good w big portions. "A very, very nice hotel, a far cry from the lower mid range best westerns of USA road trips 20 years ago. This is a lovely hotel. We had a very nice stay, and the breakfast is extensive and very good."

"This is the type of hotel where you save money to rest your head for a few hours. They have a note in the room that warns about occasional trains passing by next to the property, and they provide ear plugs for convenience. But there were no earplugs, and 3 trains passed in the first half hour, and continued all evening. We found one bed bug, searched for others and didn't find any more. "The property was great and we loved the amenities. The breakfast was phenomenal. But, the website says there is a free shuttle from the airport and when we arrived at the hotel we were told we had to pay. We asked at the front desk and were told that yes we had to pay and that the website is very out of date. We were also charged a tourist tax that wasnt much but again was an extra, unexpected charge."

"A lovely, historic hotel, but our stay was marred by having to change rooms due to bad bathroom plumbing. Our compensation was an “upgraded” room that really wasn’t. Our friends stayed at the same time, paid the same, and had a more modernized room on another floor."
