"Lovely place to stay the night whilst we were visiting Chatsworth House. Nice and quiet ample parking. The room was really clean and everything we needed was provided even a fan which was a god send as the weather was sweltering. Had a perfect nights sleep. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. We had both and evening meal and breakfast the food was lovely, hot and well prepared. We had drinks in the garden over looking the beautiful field's...

"Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect.
