"We spent one night at the 5th Street Inn in Mariposa. The inn is a renovated historic home from all appearances. The bed was comfortable but the table was tiny and the chairs in the room were very hard. Avoid this property if you can't tolerate that or navigate steps up and down. "Gorgeous location. Excellent food. Comfy beds. Sturdy but soft pillows. Wonderful water pressure in the shower. The grounds are soooo beautiful. Like it’s been built right into the surrounding nature. Quiet. The food was delish. Bar at the Tavern is so fun. The staff are incredibly sweet. And knowledgeable about everything. Only negative: we called twice for them to come clean our room, even though we had declined room service earlier. They said we could call if we wanted it at any time. But no one ever showed. "
