"The staff is absolutely amazing. Raj was wonderful helping me with taxis, excursions, and even helped me with my phone when it was having issues. Bicum, Nisan, Noraj and Ram are awesome. "This is the perfect hotel for first time visitors to Kathmandu or anyone wanting to stay in Thamel. The city/neighborhood can feel very chaotic at times, and Dalai-La is such a wonderful escape. "Lovely boutique property in the heart of Thamel. Despite being on an extremely busy street, the property was remarkably quiet with a lovely rooftop patio. Rooms are spacious and have fast wifi. Complementary breakfast was a much appreciated bonus. "

"The hosts are very dear people. The modest room was clean offering internet, television and hot water..i slept comfortably on the soft bed. Cooling is a ceiling fan & in tge cement building is more than adequate even in the summer heat."

"We had two different stays at Hotel Tibet, before and after our trek in Himalayan mountains. It was our sanctuary! The staff are incredible, so accommodating and attentive. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable. Narayan at front desk was so warm and wonderful!. We met the owner of the hotel and she was so fun to talk to and shared some interesting stories.
