"Great location"

"A nice place to stay for a couple of days in Ghent. The hotel is in a beautiful building with a nice view of the gardens through the bedroom window. It's convenient for the main tourist sites of the city, about ten minutes walk to the heart of the historic centre of town.We were a little disappointed to discover that the room had no safe, which is pretty standard in most places, which meant that we had to carry out passports etc around with us at all time. "Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is located close to a park, which is great if you (like us) travel with a dog. Lots of retaurants and supermarkets close by and the city center is in walking distance. Only sad thing is there are according to the staff basically no vegan options at breakfast. They recommended to look for a place in the city and rather not have breakfast at the hotel - if you are vegan."

"When I arrived, my reservation had already been fully paid in advance. However, at check-in, I was asked to pay for the room again, which resulted in being charged twice for the same reservation. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me at check-in was not particularly helpful when I tried to clarify the situation. Fortunately, at check-out, another staff member was very kind and professional. They reviewed the charges, immediately understood that the room had been paid twice, and...

"This property is in perfect location to explore Ghent. Most points of interest are easily reached by foot. Those rare that are not, are conveniently accessible by public transit. Irina and her staff are outstanding and very helpful with little tips that made our time in Ghent even better. Breakfasts deserve separate commendation - they might be simple, but always fresh and tasty. This property does not tick all boxes in a classic hotel requirement list, but the overall experience of home away...

"Clean Room, late check in Possible, charging stations in front of the hotel."

"Nice stay, I booked a standard room so it didn’t have a luxury feel. I got what I paid for. It didn’t have coffee maker (no lid for the water compartment) and a tea kettle which were great. A few comments, the A/C never really cooled the room despite it being on 18C. They did check on it and got it to blow some cold air but it just took the edge off. Being Europe and a heatwave are also part of it. Location was great for easy access to everything."
