The reception staff were amazing especially Frank and also the lady whose name I forgot who was working when I arrived very early and arranged a room for me. She also arranged two tours at short notice. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel "

"I paid circa $50 for one night here on a work trip. For that price I think it was a complete bargain. Location is great, no night clubs / chickens crowing next door so quiet. I didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on food (so many choices within a 5-10 min walk). This is not a luxury hotel like a Hyatt or Serena. Instead it’s bursting with Stone Town character, amazing location, nice bed and bathroom with lovely staff. Will stay again and willing to pay a little more. "

"This was our second time staying at Beyt al Salaam. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From start to finish, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. People went out of their way to help us. The room was kept clean and serviced. There is a restaurant that serves delicious food. The hotel is conveniently located in a lovely part of Stonetown and near to the beach. What made this stay so wonderful was the staff at the hotel who are simply brilliant. Thank you!"
