"Perfect area within walking distance of everything. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotels.com advertises that there is air conditioning however when we tried to adjust it from 27 degrees celsius ( 80 Fahrenheit) it was locked. There was a open window in the room that could not be closed even when you were out for the day. The lock was on to stop it. At night it was very noisy with people singing, people throwing out the garbage, and general night life. We were woken up at 1am a few times. Additionally, every time the room above showered it would drip constantly. Breakfast was good, plenty of options. I recommend to pay the city tax with small bills, because the hotel won't be able to give you change. "
"Nice hotel centrally located. Hotel and Rooms in need of an update. Rooms showing their age and in need of general update. Bath area has stained marks, cracked sinks, etc. Room had lack of multiple electrical outlets at key areas to charge all modern equipment"
"The air conditioning works property. The only negative with the hotel is that it is located next to a very busy city-tram line. The tram service appears to start early, at about 4.30 a.m., and ends at about midnight. The hotel building reverberated when the tram passes. The hotel provides ear-plugs which is thoughtful, but the guest will feel the “shake”. I did not notice the reverberation too much the first night because I was dead-tired after the trans-Atlantic flight, but I could hardly sleep the second night. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The Hotel makes up the negatives for a very good breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed."
"I received a free upgrade from Standard to Superior. The room was very spacious with a couch, desk, and even a little outdoor patio. The bathroom is quite luxurious with a waterfall showerhead and heated floors. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet, except that you could hear (and feel) when a nearby tram went by, but it was very minimal and would only be a problem to someone very sensitive to that sort of thing. Other than that, I couldn't hear any noise from the street or from the neighboring rooms.
The hotel has an elevator, but it is very small, only big enough for one person at a time. So, if you are traveling with a lot of luggage, it could make it a bit difficult to get everything to your room easily, but for most people, it is more than adequate. The location is great. It's right in the city center, making things easy to walk to. There are also multiple tram stations nearby. It was raining the two days I was there, and I didn't have an umbrella, but the hotel had some available for free for guests at the front door, which was very much appreciated.
Overall, I was really pleased with my stay, especially considering how reasonably priced the room was! I would definitely stay there again."
