The property was very close to the shops and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Made you feel very welcome. His cooked breakfast was substantial and kept you going all day. On the down side our room was up two flights of stairs which made getting suitcases in difficult. The bathroom was clean and fresh, but cramped.

Autumn Leaves 🍁

Autumn Leaves hosts are lovely and gave us a really warm welcome, breakfast was amazing. Room was cosy and bed was comfy, spotlessly clean, just what you need for a short break. Also the bonus of free parking on the street, car park facing the property also. Will return, Thankyou 😊

Rob is very helpful and kind. We arrived early and asked for if he can do early check in . He let us early check in with free of charge although it usually cost some extra charges.

Disappointing as the room we had initially was in need of update, very tired and extremely small. Springs gone in mattress, broken window hinge and blind, no covering on one window, toilet didn’t flush properly, water didn’t run away in sink. Generally below standard. Changed rooms after 2 nights and that room was much improved, although still very small. On a plus the side location is great.

A little Gem!

Lovely little Guest House ideally situated in the centre of Windemere, opposite a small car park which was a real bonus as parking can be difficult. We had two small budget rooms and whilst small, both were immaculately clean and had a good shower and tea and coffee facilities. Rob, the owner, is a very nice guy who is both very helpful and also willing to do as much as he can to help you have an enjoyable time with tips and advice about where to go for walks, places to visit and also eating. Whilst breakfast is extra it is very reasonable and excellent quality and he also did a very good vegetarian option, which my Daughter really enjoyed. All in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely come again when we are next at the Lakes.

Amazing staff, so friendly! Room really clean and comfortable and the bed was divine had a lovely sleep. Only thing is the bathroom being in a separate room across the hall, but you have a key for it and it’s totally private, secure and only for you it’s just abit inconvenient but I enjoyed it and would go again.

A great, friendly, simple B&B in a good location

The owners were friendly, the rooms nice and cosy, the breakfast really good and the location in Windermere is great. No complaints.
