"Despite the terrible weather in Roatan for our trip, Turquoise Bay was an excellent resort. We were contacted in advance of our arrival by the hotel asking if we need a shuttle in, and upon arriving we were greeted by lovely guest reception. All the restaurant staff were amazing and very friendly. I wish we had everyone's names to mention. A few that I can remember, Luis was always attentive and checking if we needed drinks, Edid (I think that's how to spell her name) was so friendly serving...

"My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see."

"We were blown away by our upgrade to the Ocean One Villa condo's!! The place was perfect with friendly staff and amenities. The pool at the Villas was a welcomed surprise. Peacefully tucked away yet only a short walk to the beach, the main hotel and restaurant made it a perfect location. The bar right on the beach was spectacular. I highly recommend this place! "

"Arca is spectacular! The hotel is small, private and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The location is excellent with the beautiful West Bay beach at your doorstep, a short walk to great snorkeling and a bunch of great restaurants and bars. However, the best food on the beach is at the Arca. The breakfast is amazing, and lunch and dinner offer lots of choices, salads, hamburgers or delicious fish dishes. "Our room was very clean and well appointed. The food was excellent, the pool and bar staff were also really good. My only criticism was they seemed understaffed, as the service times seemed a bit too long and that was directly due to staffing (we waited 25 minutes just to have someone take or dinner order the last night we were there. Regardless, we will be coming back. "
