"The hotel is OK. Our room was on the groundfloor and seemed a bit tired. It wasn’t a large bed and we were kept awake from 4 -5am by the television in an adjoining room. Parking at the hotel is easy (reduced payment for guests) and it’s convenient for the M5 and Exeter airport."

"Lovely ‘simple self-catering’ in the heart of Dartmoor. Great set of appliances to have a nice coffee and brekky in bed! Coffee and non-dairy milk included - thank you Terry :) we really enjoyed our stay and had a super sleep. The hot tub looked inviting but the weather was just a bit too miserable for us to venture out there. Next time!"

"This was my second stay here whilst visiting my son at Exeter University. Moto Velo is <20 mins from the Uni Campus, This place caught my eye as it allows dogs to stay at a reasonable price, much better than the ridiculous amount some of the hotels in Exeter were charging. Plus it comes with free convenient parking. Check-in is faceless with easy to follow instructions. "Inchecken ging moeizaam. We moesten borg betalen terwijl de kamer vooraf betaald was. De borg zou verrekend worden met het eten. Maar bleek niet mogelijk te zijn. Waardoor we dat direct moest betalen in de restaurant/bar. Kamer/badkamer was schoon en groot. Er was geen airconditioning wat jammer was gezien dat heel erg warm was. Er was een ventilator op de kamer die hopeloos was. Er was genoeg keuze voor ontbijt. Personnel was vriendelijk."

"I appreciate this is a eco hotel but for the price paid it was unacceptable levels of heat. They say that there is an air filtering system. It was absolutely boiling and uncomfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. You have to go outside to get this to be honest with you when you have a short breakaway you just would like to have reasonable facilities in your room. We had to queue for the lift. I would definitely not recommend a stay stop here"

"I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay."
