Breakfast amazing, even M&S zero fat Greek Yoghurt selection and perfect Avocado with lightly poached egg! Full English cooked fresh and looked very appetising.

"It’s a very traditional hotel in a lovely, scenic landscape. It also provides a lot of entertainment for youths. It is within walking distance to the station, the High Street and it’s by the sea with a wonderful park in front of it."

Overall an excellent hotel , especially the family room is very good.
The receptionist stored our baggage so we can go out and wonder about as we got there before the 3pm Check-in time.
Also at check out time 12pm they stored our luggage in hotel so we can pick up later which was kind of them."
"I can’t think of anything negative aside from the lift that is very slow but it didn’t matter, I love taking the stairs. Service was great, place is immaculate, our server, Will, was very engaging and easy to get to pubs and restaurants as well.
Also, if you’re not driving, you can just walk from the train station. The walk is ten minutes but it will feel that you’re just walking in a park. Absolutely lovely!
I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again."

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."
"Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)
We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty.
Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...
"It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend."
