"The hotel is perfect for Lorrach shopping centre"

"We have stayed at this hotel many times. It has not been updated since the 1980s, but its location, cleanliness and staff always made it our hotel of choice in the area. But I don’t think we’ll be back. Now there is no mini fridge in the room, 2 out 3 elevators appear permanently broken, the plumbing has issues and there is just a general sense that the owner is unwilling to invest even a single Euro. It’s a shame. A real shame. "

"Some reviews say it is a 10mins walk from the train station. There are 2 train stations and the international one, we came in from Strasbourg, is a 36mins walk! Our mistake but worth noting. The bus back ( which is free) stops outside the hotel. A functional busy hotel with friendly efficient staff ideal for a 1 night stopover"

"Very spartan but clean and that is reflected in the price. No staff about and all automatic check in. The town is a bit of a frontier setting so next time I think I would pay more and stay in Basel. But if you're on a budget it's ideal."

"Desperate in need of upgrading. The room feels neglected. Tiny insects flying in the room and crawling in the bathroom. Bare minimum breakfast for 10 euros. 15 minutes walk to public transportation. "
