"It situated right in the town centre. A bit chaotic. The bathroom and toilet had no lock and male and female was sharing, that was stressful having to keep an eye on the door."

"We had a lovely 😍 stay in room called Leslies reserve. Good size, bed comfortable, shower refreshing and great decor...plenty tea and coffee in room. Breakfast great all staff very pleasant and attentive. Only downside it was a hot night and the room had no fan. Will book again"

"We booked Hempstead House for a relaxing night away, but instead spent the evening listening to a wedding reception directly beneath our room. The loud music, guests partying in the courtyard and noise from people returning to their rooms meant we had a very poor night’s sleep. I completely understand that weddings are an important part of the hotel’s business, and I have no issue with the wedding itself. What I do object to is being allocated a room overlooking the reception when we were not...
