"We loved the 70’s vibes atmosphere of the place. Everyone was helpful with suggestions of places to eat and see. Ruby was a restaurant in the office area and the food there was the best we’ve had for breakfast. The waffles are to die for. Make sure to get the whipped cream. It was quiet at night and we felt safe. They have bikes that you can use for biking downtown. Rooms were clean and we had a mini fridge and a microwave. We highly recommend Hotel Zed as a great place to stay"

"A welcome rest for three days after working our way down from Campbell River. The hotel is in a great location and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We did not eat at the hotel as we wanted simple fayre in the morning and search out different cuisines via Trip Advisor. We had a two Queen bed room on the 2nd floor overlooking the ferry harbour area. Although the room was very good, after three days we found the beds a bit too hard and left with aches in...
