"I stayed at this hotel a few years ago. I was located on the other side of the building where it was quiet. I was on the street side this time and there was a lot of street noise. I do not recommend getting the spa package. Not worth the money. Staff was great. Breakfast good."

"Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and professional, and you can use laundry services. They also can book you a bus to the airport if you plan ahead. Only issue is that it's a bit of a walk to downtown Rekyavik, so best to have a car. Busses were not always reliable."

"It is rare that a listing that has a reasonable rate and appears amazing in the photos is truly what it seems. In this case, it was actually better. It is located just a 20 minute drive East of Reykjavik, making it a simple commute for city sightseeing; but you’re also 20 minutes closer to the Golden Circle route compared to if you stayed at a much more expensive place in the city. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains and countryside. A bistro, bakery and supermarket are all just down the block, making it a perfect “home base” for your stay."

"Very nice stay. It was probably the only shower in Iceland that didn’t flood out the entire bathroom. It was incredibly windy when we went and it definitely came through the door causing a bit of a chill but other than that it was great. Kitchen had enough amenities and there was a basic amount of seasonings likely left over from previous guests. I would stay again."

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We paid for breakfast and there was a wide variety of things to eat and everyone in my family had a nice breakfast to start our day. We used the laundry service and it was speedy and worth the money. If we are ever staying in the area we would come back here."
