"This hotel was lovely. The rooms were large, comfortable, nicely decorated and quiet. The little restaurant is very good, with a tasty breakfast that was included. And the staff was so cheerful, helpful and accommodating. We chose De Syloia because we wanted a hotel that was close to things but not in a loud area and the location did not disappoint. The French Quarter is noticeably more quiet, pretty, and less congested than the Old Quarter. After a long day, walking back to a quieter and lovely neighborhood and hotel was a nice reprieve."
