"We stayed here for three nights split into two stays with our Halong Bay cruise in between them. We wanted to travel light for the boat and the hotel had no issue in keeping our suitcases safely locked away for us. From the moment you arrive to the time you depart, you can expect top class service with lots of friendly smiles. One of the front desk managers , Sophie (I guess this as she wore a smart business suit compared to the others who were in traditional Ao Dai outfits), went out of her way to make sure we got our Halong Bay tour bus. As it was a bigger bus it couldn’t come down our tight street so she took the call from our guide and then personally escorted us with one of the doorman up to the corner where she had arranged for us to be picked up. Thanks Sophie! The room was modern in a classic French style and everything worked perfectly. It was small but it was what we paid for and what you expect in a major city where land is precious. We actually got an upgrade to same room type but a better view on both occasions, one with lake views on the top floor. Very comfortable with a great walk in shower and top notch bed and bedding. Breakfast is on the twelfth floor so you get awesome views of the city and Lake Hoan Kiem. Staff are very friendly and very attentive and switched on. Barista coffee is available at an extra cost, but the included coffee and tea will be refilled regularly at your table by one of the numerous vigilant team members. The buffet itself is "

"The location is excellent for a visit to the Old Quarter. The staff were very helpful and super attentive. We booked a junior suite, which is a little misleading for a room basically big enough for a king-sized bed and no separate bathroom, but, size aside, the room was comfortable and the breakfast spread was varied and ample. Everything worked and we would certainly stay there again."

"If you want a 5 star hotel experience stay here. From the moment we arrived our every need was looked after. Paula wasn’t feeling too well one morning and Benny in the dining room went out of his way getting herbal drinks for her and even sending some to our room that night. Thomas and Jeremy and the staff at the front desk made sure we knew where we were going and on our return would have drinks ready for us , much appreciated in the heat. A big thank you to all the staff."

A very special thank you to Tamila , she took us in and made everything better than perfect !! Even went so far as to pack us a breakfast /lunch as we left for our flight left before breakfast was served .
