I was in Tokyo for 7 nights on a solo sightseeing trip, staying at Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi. It was excellent for my needs. The staff were helpful and friendly, my room was immaculately clean, and the hotel is in a nice quiet part of town yet very close to all of the various train lines you might need. Having visited more touristy areas I am so glad I chose somewhere in a quieter neighbourhood, and Tokyu Stay couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much to the staff for making my week comfortable and providing such a good base to explore the best city in the world.

Very courteous staff and a very pleasant room. Although the hotel is near a busy road, the rooms are very quiet. We appreciated having a queen size bed, and a small table with fridge, microwave, and kettle.

This hotel was perfect for my stay in Tokyo. The room we booked was spacious compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in Japan and it was great for two people. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The area was close to a lot of convenience stores, restaurants and train stations so it was very easy to get around. It was also in a quiet neighborhood which is nice after a full day of exploring. The check in/out process was also easy and did not take too much time.

The room was clean and the amenities were great. The staff were very helpful, and they did above and beyond. I arrived quite a few hours before the check in time and had to leave my luggage there. Upon knowing this, the staff went ahead and moved all of my luggage to my room so that I didnt have to drag them around when I checked in. I recommend Tokyu Stay to anyone who travels on budget.

The reception staff were always kind and courteous. We were able to leave our luggage there before check-in and by the time we came back it had already been taken to our room. We much prefer not having daily housekeeping and having options for levels of service (full clean or towels and bins only etc). Lots of little touches made a big difference-the free postcards they offer and send on your behalf, the welcome biscuits, the complimentary shampoo is excellent, food and drinks in reception, the balcony to the room with microwave and fridge and great value price being in a quiet area only one stop away from Tokyo - we highly recommend and would love to stay here again.
