"Stayed at the Celtic Manor Resort recently and came away feeling a little disappointed overall. The bed was genuinely excellent and most of the staff we dealt with were friendly and polite, but for a hotel marketed as five-star, parts of the experience didn’t really match the price point. "We stayed in a superior room with lake view and was amazed on how beautiful the room and view were. We were very fortunate to have a room with veranda where we sat and just enjoyed the peace of our surroundings and the stunning lake. Breakfast was very nice as always and plenty to choose from. We didn't use to pool or spa as we were happy enjoying the sunshine and our veranda. Close to Chepstow Town centre. Friendly staff and easy check in."
