"Ein wunderschönes altes Hotel in bester Lage. Zwei Kritikpunkte: mein Zimmer war ohne Möglichkeit das Fenster zu öffnen. Ausserdem, gegenüber vom Hotel ist ein Lokal, das an Freitag und Samstag offenbar Livemusik anbietet und das enorm laut. Als Frühaufsteher würde ich das Hotel daher leider am Wochenende meiden. Ansonsten habe ich mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt."

"Things were not great during my stay. The food was awful, and breakfast was particularly disappointing. My room was not clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was no staff available at checkout. On top of that, the invoice I was given was incorrect and did not reflect the amount that had already been paid through Expedia. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation."

The building is not new, the furniture might seem dated but very functional and no visible defects and had a very good sleep , very comfy bed and all linesn and bathroom and everything else very clean. "Whilst the room was relatively clean, it did not resemble the advertised pictures. It was more like a HMO than a ‘hotel’ or ‘B&B’. There is a number lock to enter the building and then another number lock on the bedroom door - no staff. - and more like poor student digs. The room was a Victorian front room converted and the noise from the street kept me awake most of the night. In the morning I was bitten by some smaller occupants of the room!!! "The property had staff that were helpful and polite we arrived early and the chap let us check in and order us a taxi to get into town . When it was late he kept us informed. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed . The shower products were lovely . The breakfast selection was fab and the morning staff were chatty. The hotel needs a complete overhaul it is dated and tired looking which I can imagine is disappointing for the staff that work hard . They deserve...

"Had a lovely stay this weekend. The cooked breakfast was lovely! Staff very friendly. I liked the trolley available to help ourselves to top ups of towels, water and extra tea and coffee supplies. Quiet location. Bed was a little creaky, but comfortable, on ground level which was nice too. Bathroom grouting could do with a little de-moulding, and shower heads could be a little higher. Also plug sockets by the bed would also be more helpful. But overall, i cant complain and would stay again!"
