"The pool was opened and they had movies for kids in the evening. When we arrive at the hotel, at least the room was clean, but the water pressure to flush the toilets was terrible, the sink was also slow to drain and terrible. The room was to be cleaned every 3 days, but it was never cleaned. We had to ask for clean towels twice to be replaced. We had to empty out the garbage ourselves. The outside grounds by the parking lot Building B was always ditty, full of leaves and garbage the other people would throw out. Most of it was scattered on the floor, because the garbage bins were small and garbage was not picked up that often . They charged a resort fee which shouldn't even br charged. That location is not a resort. Breakfast was a goodie box with an egg sandwich, a pastry or an apple. Coffee and juice available at the cabana where they gave you the breakfast box. No coffee maker in the rooms either. The location of the hotel is the only good thing about it. This hotel needs to be updated and renovated. The cleaning crew hardly speak any English and it wa gard to even ask them for towel replacements and to throw out the garbage. It's sad but true. "

"I am a very frustrated consumer. We booked the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark specifically for the "Waterpark" experience, but it was a total letdown. A huge portion of the waterpark—specifically the areas appropriate for my kids' ages—was completely gone, likely under remodel, but this wasn't clearly communicated. When a hotel brands itself as a "Resort and Waterpark," you expect the main attraction to be functional. The biggest sting was the bill. I was charged $308 in parking and resort fees for a 4-night stay. This is a massive hidden cost that should be made explicitly clear at the time of booking. Had I known the "real" price upfront, I would have chosen a property that actually fit my family’s budget. While the staff was attentive and the rooms were clean, good service doesn't give back the joy of overpaying for a diminished experience. I expect a polite response saying, "I’m sorry you feel this way," or an apology for the construction, but what I actually want is a refund. We paid for amenities we didn't get to use and were hit with fees that felt like an ambush. If you have young children, look elsewhere until they actually have a functioning waterpark to offer. BEWARE OF THE HIDDEN FEES!"

"We liked our family room suite- it was clean, quiet and dark when we slept. The beds were comfortable but the chairs in the room and throughout the resort are cheap and not comfy to sit in. The staff wasn’t very friendly, they were on the robotic side, just going through the motions. Check in was particularly not friendly. The luggage check guys were the best, they are the ones to answer your questions. The pool was warm and clean, and geared for smaller kids- very shallow and there are two ducks swimming in it which means people feed them and they then do, you know what in the pool. The big issue were the gates into the pool- they either didn’t work with the key and, if the did, they are heavy and old which makes it very difficult for kids and elderly to open. I strongly recommend the resort update these. The resort has a fun retro theme which hides some of its tiredness. I do recommend it for a family - friendly budget option. We used the early entrance one day (left ant 715) and slept in on the second day- had to wait 15 mins for the park bus at 830. These should be running more frequently? We had a blast at the parks and barely spent any time at the hotel except on checkout day. The maid woke us up knocking on our door at 845 when we were all trying to sleep in on check out day. So remember to put the do not disturb sign out!!!! She came back two more times. Check the coffee in your room. We kept on getting all decaf and had to keep going to the lobby to get that fixed."
