The Composers Room

We were there for one night only. They had automated check-in kiosks, which I had never used. The line was always long for that, no matter the time. We waited about 20 minutes for a kiosk. Check-in itself was easy, though I saw International travelers constantly have questions about scanning their passports. We had to change rooms because I didn't know any previous room requests would not be attached to my reservation, and that process took over 2 hours. Our new room was on the 22nd floor of the tower and smelled like cigarette smoke. We'd brought sodas but couldn't find the ice machine. After calling Housekeeping, we were told all floors have ice machine. This is not true. We had to go with our little ice bucket down to the casino floor to get our ice. We were there during the week, and room service is only on certain days, and only before 2pm, so we were out of luck. A lot of the restaurants on the casino floor closed by 4. We'd hoped to use the pool- it was so crowded and noisy. I was hoping to use the gym, but going anywhere on this property from our room took so much time and effort because it's so expansive and labyrinthine. The room itself was great, smell aside. I left knowing I wouldn't be staying there again.
