"Super friendly staff, right on the course, restaurant/bar and good breakfast. What else could you want?"

"Bed was so uncomfortable"

"Great stay for a couple of nights, perfect location waking up next to cows each day! Walkable into Haddington. Kitchen head everything to cook breakfast and evening meal, including small oven and hobs"

"The hotel was well set up and modern. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent."

"Beautifully positioned by sea, and right beside golf course. Short walk into the old town. Visited the spa which was very relaxing and well maintained. Breakfast offered a large choice and was well cooked and presented."

"Food was good at hotel"

"Great location in a beautiful little town, very friendly staff (especially the lady on shift for breakfast), clean room. Would go again."

"Great hotel, would stay again!"

"Excellent property directly opposite the port. Old buildings as expected, but beautifully refurbished. My room was large, spotlessly clean and full of nice touches, including lots of tabletops and drawers. The big surprise was the bathroom. It was enormous with a large modern soaker tub, separate shower stall, wc and vanity. (The only downside is trying to find a parking spot which is very difficult throughout this town, so be prepared to drop off, or walk with your luggage.) The restaurant...

"Okay, so as long as you park within the parking space lines (for fire safety reasons) your stay at the Spindrift Guest House should be a great experience. The honesty bar in the lounge is extremely well-stocked. We did not partake, but the whisky selection according to my husband was excellent. The room is spacious and well-decorated. The bathroom is small and the height of the bath may be a bit tricky for some. No baths are allowed and I found the water temperature on the tepid side when I...

"Staff wonderful and great breakfast included. Wireless was spotty. Kitchen odors /noise was in my room- but I had the least expensive single in the back of a dark hallway. Bed comfy!!"

"A lot of reviews for this house were quite bad. This is the review of the room we had on the ground floor. Massive room & bathroom. Shower for less able people & a lovely big bath. Everywhere was spotless. We had a 6 foot bed that was very comfortable. Yes, the wallpaper was old & stained but this house is very old & must take a great deal of upkeep. The dining room was lovely, as was the breakfast Our friends had the room next door & their opinion was the same as ours. All 4 of us would...

"I liked the room food and mini fridge options for breakfast and snacks. Suited my early departure plan. Also I was able to put my bike inside at reception ground level., since it’s a small on street building. The room was functional but the sink had a slight smell which would be good to investigate. Great position."

"The only word to describe the holiday home and the whole experience is perfect. I can't use the word caravan and it's better than that it's a true home from home. It had everything you need and more.. Kids loved the fast broadband and smart TV. There was a welcome basket with things you need for your first night.. I would recommend this home to anybody and everybody xxx"

"The location is exceptional as it is in town and wonderful views. The house is very clean and lots of room. This would be perfect for a family or group of golfers. The property manager was helpful with the washing machine. It is not luxury, it is a little more spartan but charming. I would definitely come back."

"Extremely clean 3 bedroom caravan in a lovely woodland setting next to the coast. Friendly host who ensured that we had all that we needed for a really enjoyable stay. Would recommend for families. "
