"The hostel was fine by hostel standards, however we had a private double room and the bathroom had a really bad drainage smell so we just used the communal shower and toilet. Also we were overlooking a back ally and the room smelt of petrol or gas the whole night which wasn't very pleasant. But other than that, room was clean and decent size, especially for the price."

"Very well maintained, great service, many restaurant options, friendly staff. Nothing went bad, everything was great. The Beach Grill staff was great, especially Mook (I think that was her name, the head waitress). Would definitely come back here if I am in Phuket again. "
