"The property is an amazing old building right in the centre of town, opposite the fossil museum and a very short walk to the beach As others have mentioned it is directly above a burger restaurant, which didn’t pose an issue other than an overwhelming smell of old cooking fat in the communal entrance although isnt noticeable upstairs in the apartment The place was perfectly clean but the sofa has seen better days and the main bed was very uncomfortable. "Ready enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable room. Good choice for breakfast. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Didn't eat in the bistro restaurant but did enjoy food from the bar menu. We added the Indulgence package to our booking and would really recommend this, well worth the cost."

"Only spent 1 night there in a small single room in the East wing, exactly as advertised though, small but comfortable bed, good value for money in my opinion. Paid for the buffet breakfast on the day, good value for money though even at the higher rate. Evening in the bar waa quite lively considering the time of year. Would recommend."

"We were welcomed by friendly staff, Clare at reception was great. The Hotel was exceptionally clean. The room was well furnished, beds comfortable. Facilities were perfect. Bar and restaurant very comfortable. We had evening meal and breakfast both well cooked and a great variety at breakfast. Bar staff worked hard and remembered our drink choices . We saw a cleaner working in the lobby she was very attentive, the hotel was spotless . The Spa was relaxing. We saw locals comingni to use the pool which says alot for the hotel facilities . Its a flat 5 minute walk to the beachfront. Plenty of parking spaces. Will definitely return."

"The staff were very kind and it was the perfect location for the town and the beach. The breakfast was amazing and included with the room. Stay was overall very good but two minor points which were although there was a car park and space it is very difficult to get in and out of the car park as it was very small and cramped. I struggled to get into one of the spots but the staff were excellent and the lady on reception moved her own car to and it easier. The second minor note is that there was scaffolding and builders literally underneath the window"
