We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Guest House and would happily return. The two Davids were exceptional hosts, genuinely welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about creating a comfortable and relaxed experience for their guests. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm, friendly, and personal rather than transactional.
The room was cozy and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Everything was clean and comfortable, with a charm that suited the character of the house perfectly. Breakfast was another highlight. It was well prepared, generous, and enjoyed in a pleasant setting that encouraged an unhurried start to the day.
The guest house itself is full of lovely art, which adds warmth and personality throughout the space. One of the most memorable touches was the birds visiting the window. Watching them up close in the morning added a peaceful, almost storybook quality to the stay.
Overall, Chalet Guest House offers a welcoming, character-filled experience with hosts who truly make the difference. A charming place with warmth, comfort, and thoughtful details that stay with you.
Lovely heritage property filled with so much character and charm. Loved all of the decor and amazing artwork. Everything was very clean, the brekky, which was included, was simple, fresh and very satisfying. The weather was still chilly for the end of November so David our host had the log fire going which was very cosy while sitting on the beautiful Chesterfield lounges. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Blue Mountains.
The Chalet Guesthouse was a perfect place to stay for a peaceful weekend. David was very friendly & welcoming. The room & ensuite bathroom was immaculate & comfortable. It was fascinating to wander around the Chalet & look at all the artwork & artefacts.

We really loved the Guesthouse and the lovely hosts…our stay was wonderful. Loved the atmosphere, the cosy rooms, the art; and so close to everything in the local area. Highly recommend to anyone wanting accomodation in the Blue Mountains.
I stayed two nights at the Chalet Guesthouse. The hosts were friendly and accessible and always on hand, helping us with a takeaway order the night we stayed in. The guest house is such a beautiful creative space with unique furnishings and art work. The dining/living room is comfortable and roomy and looks out through expansive windows onto the garden. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a spotlessly clean and bright en-suite. Under floor heating was much appreciated in the evenings before bed and on a cool morning. Breakfast was excellent and on request, the espresso coffee was delicious. I’ll be back!
This was a lovely stay! Our room was clean and the bathroom was so cute! It had a clawfoot tub! Our host David built us a fire upon our arrival. Breakfast was well presented and yummy as well! We were also able to see the parrots feeding at the dining window! This place me be outside of major city but it is very close to Echo Point. Would definitely recommend!
Ok stay. Bed not comfortable and room dated and not cleaned to our standard. Breakfast basic and you can buy extras like eggs and bacon. Probably not be back.
