The views from the hotel are out of this world. Whilst the rooms are snug they have everything you need with an amazing view to wake up to. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay.
room was tiny but functional, very clean
The bathroom was terrible set up for the room rate, couldnt have a bath as it was tiny and would of been nice after hiking all day. the rpressure of shower was not great either.
breakfast was great though
This is an iconic hotel. The room was small but extremely comfortable with incredible views. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was full of antiques and amazing guest areas. The restaurant was in a room with stunning views and the food was excellent. Breakfast had good variety. I can not express how interesting this hotel was.
A fantastic place to stay with fine dining options, elegant bar and unique Art Deco decor and architecture. Great base for doing anything in the Blue Mountains. It's like staying in a piece of history.
Historic property, fantastic view and great staff, garden in front good but out back was pretty rough
Terrible road construction out front (and even when finished) is such a detriment

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great historic building and atmosphere. Staff are excellent and a unique experience.
Beautifully renovated building with a high end luxury feel. We loved it! The only draw backs were the roadworks outside and the fact that there is no lift. Window are double glazed so it was still very quiet in our road facing room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room is elegant. Food privey but good quality. We would definitely recommend.

The room was clean, but the view isn't the best (Carpark). The breakfast was good.
The Hydro has so much rich history and the renovation is beautiful. The restaurant is great and the chef outdid themselves with a wonderful dinner. The staff were excellent and so polite.
The bar is fabulous for pre and after dinner cocktails.
The valley view room was a little small, nicely renovated but the bathroom needs an extra shelf for your toiletries.
Overall we had a great stay
A wonderful location with expansive views across the Megalong Valley. The property makes full use of these, from the rooms, dining room and lounge. Its an odd collection of buildings joined together, with many indications of its heyday which is being largely restored. The rooms are quite small, but comfortable, and there are plenty of public spaces to relax in.
