"Old box TV, no channels working, a waste of time having it in the room. Furniture in room rundown, no clothes hangers. The bed was very comfortable. Swimming pool was nice, needs more seating areas & lounge beds. No restaurant/food, snacks or water available on site, you need to drive to get these. Dinner & Breakfast needs to be pre booked in advance when not purchased in a package. Internet was ok. Heaps of parking available. "

"Ammes was a great base, the room was spotless, the pool area was great and the hotel was across the road from a great beach which was sandy and ideal for families. The owners were fantastic and very helpful as were all the staff there. A family run business who prided themselves on their service. Not a busy resort and only a couple of local restaurants, however it is on a local bus route into the busier areas of Lassi and Argostoli. Well worth getting a car to visit the...

"We loved this place. The suite was huge and spotlessly clean. The pool was perfect and beautifully maintained as were the gardens with plenty of sun loungers and separate shady seating areas. We enjoyed watching the planes takeoff and land- we were worried about the close proximity to the airport but the property’s elevated position meant that noise was not a problem. Plus there was not a lengthy transfer to the airport to contend with- a huge bonus. You really do need a car if you stay here-...
