"Location"

"The hotel and rooms are old. It's noisy outside. There were workers doing maintenance, which wasn't a great experience. Even though the guy gave us a better room, it still wasn't clean or modern enough. The New Yorker Hotel has a good reputation, and I hope they take better care of it in the future."

"Whilst the website makes clear it's undergoing refurbishment there's nothing that clearly defines the impact we stayed in a room I believed had been renovated on floor 21 however the room certainly didn't look freshly decorated, the blind only went up and down halfway and the air con whilst cook made a horrible noise all night long and constantly sounded like dripping water. Then to top it all every morning we're woken at 7 but the sound of workmen upstairs drilling banging and crashing."

"Unlimited breakfast buffet cuts down on food expense. The onsite herb and kitchen food option is very expensive however the hotel provides a daily $35 credit to offset costs. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff helpful in explaining additional unexpected nyc hotel rates/ fees added to the cost of rooms. This location is great to easily access tourist spots."
