"Stayed here for 4 nights and it exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect and the room was very nice and updated! We stayed in the sunset tower so it was very convenient being right by the parking lot so it was easy in and out. My only complaint was that one of the elevators was out of order, but other than that everything was perfect!"
Harrah’s Lake Tahoe – A Caesars Rewards Destination
2/10 Terrible
"The room was really dirty. Entry was covered in sticky stuff on wall and floor. Desk and table had sticky mess and drink rings. Behind the bed on lights more sticky stuff. Cheese that was old was wrapped in a rubber band on the floor. The drawers on the dresser would not close and stayed open a foot taking people out when they walked by. Shower was coming out of the wall and a dirty towel was stuffed in the hole to keep it in. Furniture and pillows on chairs were dirty with stains. We tried getting support from desk and left messages. Talked again when you check out. Would not ever stay here again."
"The room was clean and the bed was very comfy.
Microwaves and room service are no longer available, so that was disappointing.
Most of the staff were borderline rude with the exception of one of the valet guys and a late night front desk operator."
"The two tiered hot tub was excellent. Room are quite big and roomy. Bed was comfortable, bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated.
Very enjoyable stay. Element Restaurant right next door."
"Excellent location. Heavenly village and restaurants are at a walking distance - some really good places to have a relaxing lunch/dinner with live music.
Very helpful staff, clean room and good options for breakfast. A caveat that surprised us was buffet breakfast is only available on weekends. Weekdays is ala carte with packages (omlette package contains choice of omlette, juice/coffee, housemade potatoes). This is not mentioned anywhere unless you land up at the entrance of the cafe where the host to our surprise mentioned it. You can either chose to venture outside for breakfast or as we chose to eat their anyways (with a kid + avoid morning hassle).
Everything is extra $$. You want a drink (in buffet breakfast) extra $10, valet parking (is the only option) $50/day. All this without a complimentary drink (unless you go and ask at the front desk)
Overall, I would say the experience was good primarily b/c of the location and staff. Beware of additional charges though."

6/10 Okay
"Pros:
i liked the different pool options, 2 outdoor pools, one indoor and a jacuzzi. The scenery was beautiful and i liked the arcade and full kitchen. The shower was also unique due to the double shower heads. Staff was helpful!
Cons:
Parking garage was difficult, limited space to maneuver while parking.
Only one tiny trash bin in toilet/bathroom, No trash bin in bedroom.
No sitting chair in the bedroom, i had to take a chair from the dining room.
One pool said it was heated, but it wasn't, it was a very cold pool.
No Complimentary coffee"
"The CVI is a beautiful place to stay in Gardnerville. I love the indoor pool and Jacuzzi's. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel and casino areas are clean. The food is always good and Katie's is my favorite, they always have great food, with excellent service. Thank you,"
